Distance Learning Update

Our school campus closure has been extended through the end of the school year.  While all Hesperia school campuses will be physically closed our schools will be continuing educational services with distance learning for the rest of the school year.  With the President’s recent proclamation of a national emergency and Governor Newsom’s latest executive order regarding the Coronavirus, Hesperia Unified School District (including Hesperia Adult School)  campuses will remain physically closed to prevent the spread of the virus.  During this closure our adult students will continue to work at home on materials, review and utilize their textbooks and workbooks, projects and supplemental resources. The supplemental online learning resources reviewed previously in your Adult Education classes (such as Odysseyware, Nextgen Aztec GED Flash or Side by Side Interactive Activities) are still active by using your current usernames and passwords.   Teachers will be in contact with their students to provide distance learning opportunities to include virtual sessions such as Zoom, Google Classroom, conference calls and emails.  Distance learning will be implemented by all teachers by April 6.  Students: Please check your email for details and contact your teacher via email.  Staff is available remotely during this time for support services.  Please email kim.walker@hesperiausd.org for additional assistance. Thank you again for your support during this time.
